Well-run and lovely old fashioned hotel in an elegant building. Very helpful and dedicated staff with knowledge of the place. - Particularly good location within walking distance to Chapelle Saint-Ortaire. - the restaurant was nice for dinner.

The service was friendly and the pool was nice.

The room was comfortable with air conditioning and a balcony, which was convenient to have a kettle available.

The staff were attentive and the facilities provided were overall nice.

I found the Hotel very comfortable but they didnt change the room towels also when I orded water at the dining table they served warm water in a bottle it would have been nicer if they served iced water food very nice

The place was really clean, and the staff was super friendly! We got upgraded to a comfy room with nice bed sheets and a big balcony. 🌟

No courtesy tray in room. No room or bar service after 10.00pm No English translation of restaurant menu. Breakfast was not value for money and service was poor, having to search for crockery and ask for replenishment of items on the buffet.

The rooms are quiet and absolutely perfect with breakfast included, and the staff here is both pleasant and welcoming.

Fantastic hotel! The rooms and spa are modern and elegant. The town is lovely and the restaurants gourmet. Domfront is nearby and a medieval town that should not be missed.. A bygone world of french kings and queens. Bagnoles is a hidden treasure and this hotel compliments it.

The fact that the hotel was booked so that I could not stay longer was difficult.

I chose a room with balcony because the view ove rthe lake is wonderful and on a summers evening it would take some beating. The location for strolling is great and if you wany to do some shopping its location is fine. However town is small so not a lot of shops. The poor economy is beginning to hurt and the restaurants were quiet. The hotel is smart and the staff friendly though we were only there one night so spent most of our time outside the hotel, no meals.

The bar area had strict opening times, we returned after a meal out at 10pm and it was closed.

Our 7th stay at this hotel and it never disappoints. The location is pleasant with a lake view in the front and a forest view in the back. The breakfasts were excellent with lots of choice, and the evening meals in the restaurant were a lifesaver when many other options were closed. The clean rooms had large, well-maintained bathrooms and ample storage. The beds were comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep. The staff at reception were extremely helpful, and the young lady in charge of breakfast service did an exceptional job constantly renewing the buffet.

The staff were very freindly and very helpful, even going so far as to have the menu translated in to english when they were aware that we were eating there on a second evening. Nothing seemed to be too much touble and they were all very happy. The location was good being right in the high street with plenty of bars and resatuarants close by.Rooms were good with lovely views of the lake and the food and wine were great.
